Ginger essential oil (Zingiber officinale) has a bright, spicy aroma with earthy undertones. Our organically grown Ginger essential oil is from Sri Lanka and grown without harmful chemicals or pesticides. The oil is harvested from ginger rhizomes and is steam distilled. Ginger essential oil is a light yellow color with a thin consistency and is part of our Spice category.
Update: We just got in a fresh batch! Our new batch is organically grown in India and CO2 extracted. We're working on updating the info on our labels, but for now bottles with batch code 2610020-120920 are this new batch.

Ginger essential oil is believed to be anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic. May also aid digestion, relieve pain, and relieve nausea, vomiting and morning sickness.
Native to southeastern Asia, Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is best grown in a humid, hot and shady environment where the oil is harvested from the plant's rhizomes (knobby underground stem). A staple spice in many Indian and Asian cuisines, ginger's essential oil shares its notable pungent and aromatic scent.
Primary uses for our Ginger essential oil are pain relief, anti-inflammatory and nausea, morning sickness relief.

Aromatically: diffusion or direct inhalation
Topically: dilute 3% with carrier oil - test diluted oil on a small area of skin before applying.

Shelf life: 6-8 year when properly stored
Storage: Minimize exposure to light, air and heat to get the full benefit and life out of your oil. Store your oil tightly sealed and in cardboard tube between 59 and 71° F.
