Patchouli Essential Oil is believed to be antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, astringent, antidepressant, aphrodisiac, circulatory aid, deodorizing (removes odors), regenerative and soothing for skin.


Patchouli oil has a very musky, masculine scent. Many people enjoy the savory aroma though some consider it too strong or overpowering for their taste. This oil can be used as a subtle base note for creating your own blends.

Aromatically: diffusion or direct inhalation (This is a thicker oil and may leave residue in most diffusers)


Topically: dilute 5% with carrier oil or use neat (undiluted) for small, short term use - test diluted oil on a small area of skin before applying neat.

Shelf life: 10+ years when stored properly, improves with age


Storage: Minimize exposure to light, air and heat to get the full benefit and life out of your oil. Store your oil tightly sealed and in cardboard tube between 59 and 71° F.
